
How to stay grounded During Uncertain Times

The year 2020 was the most uncertain and most ungrounding time of my life.
It felt like a Tuggawar and my body was the rag doll toiled in between.
I was stood down from my job with Emirates.
I was stuck overseas in Dubai and couldn’t get back. The Australian government had flights capped at 20 people per flight.
The next flight available was for 8 months time. I hadn’t seen my partner in over 5 months.
I felt sick with stress.
I was surrounded by fear.
The energy in Dubai during the pandemic was low. It was sad. It was dark.
I prayed to get home.
By a miracle I got a flight home.
I then completed my third hotel quarantine in Sydney. This cost me $3500.
I couldn’t leave my room.
The stress piled on. Unknowingly.
I was threatened to complete another 14 day hotel quarantine when I landed in Brisbane.
I needed healing.
I was fragile.
I tried to swallow my pride and hide any emotion that had built up these past 6 months.
I thought my problems would disappear once I landed back home…
It was a shock to the system when I realised I had to settle back in my own country.
2 years away and everything had changed.
I had changed.
The stress and pressure I put on myself was too much. Until I acknowledged it and took time out for myself from everyone to heal. Solitude. Self Love.
It was a journey.
I was adjusting to life in a different country again.
Missing my friends.
Different apartment.
Living with my partner again After long distance relationship time.
A new job in a different field.
Different food.
Missing my old job.
It was too much.
At the time felt like it wasn’t going to end, the feeling of overwhelm.

What might have brought you here today is the fact that life doesn’t always go to plan, and sometimes we are faced with uncomfortable times of uncertainty.
This can then bring on unfamiliar emotions and uncertain feelings may arise.
I feel that unless you’ve been physically through an enormous transitional period, then you might find it difficult to relate or give guidance to someone experiencing tremendous change in their lives.
I created this blog as a guide to help you through. So you don’t have to deal with it alone, even though you might feel that no body understands or that you’re on this journey by yourself.
You’re not and you don’t have to be.

Remember, everyone you know is experiencing something you know nothing about.

Start by taking this time to show a little more kindness, to yourself and to others.

I feel it’s important to also remember that everything happens for a reason. As ‘cliche’, as it may sound. The ‘universe’, will only deliver what you can handle so whatever you are experiencing you are strong enough to over come and generally the path to get through this, will be the journey that guides you home.

So whatever you’re experiencing right now remember, your feelings are valid. You matter. You are not alone. You will get through this.
Support is always available.
Weather you are a new mum finding your way, are dealing with a relationship or marriage breakup, lost your job or searching for a new one, fighting illness or health, feeling as though your whole life has turned up side down or just experiencing, ‘One of those days’. You could be experiencing some anxiety or depression.
Start today to understand and have faith that the ‘universe’ has a plan.
Nothing lasts forever.

You will be okay.
Spiritual support and guidance is always available to you.
Don’t be afraid to reach out and speak to someone. Friends, family, a mentor.
Fear will try to override your capacity to embrace faith and guidance.
If your eyes are closed and your body is shut off then you are blocking all the blessings and guidance available to you.
Start by allowing yourself to be open.
This might be something so foreign to you and scary at the start. I have had many clients stepping into their spiritual journey for the first time.
It can feel daunting.
But what is more daunting then staying in the same place you are right now?
Physically, emotionally, mentally?
Depending where you are in your journey, to have hope; faith and guidance sometimes means stepping out of your comfort zone and learning how to trust. Rather than understand.
It will all make sense soon.
But for now, their is a reason you have been drawn to this today and a reason you have seeked out support.
This is it.
You have a choice now to embrace guidance, coming from a place of light and love or to turn back and repeat the same cycle that has been happening in your life.

I work from a place of love, energy and frequency (vibration).
I receive this information through spiritual downloads which comes from a place of high vibrational energy. Accessible when I channel through to people, souls and the current consciousness of the world.
I feel and I see that everyone is experiencing an energetic upgrade on some level.
We all experience many 'death' and 'rebirths' during our time on earth.
This is how we grow, this is how we evolve, this is how we learn.
Causing things that aren’t aligning in their life to simply fall away.
This can be uncomfortable as it is in our human DNA to want to cling to comfortability, to want to control every aspect of our lives and to attach to what is safe and familiar.
A part of this journey to upgrade and evolve is to be able to recognise this and let go of attachments and learn to trust in the process.
Learn to surrender.
To see with our hearts instead of through our mind and recognise when things in our life are out of balance and harmony.
This takes great courage and bravery to step back and see things for what they really are.

In our lives we change and evolve naturally in different speeds and ways then others. Sometimes, by holding on to something or situations that no longer align with our highest self can often cause more damage and suffering.

Their is an art in learning to let go and to trust.
Their is an art in following your heart and soul and be open to receiving Devine guidance.
When we surrender to the power of our heart and dance to the rhythms of our own heart, life can be a dream.

We tune into our own energetic vibration and can flow. This is where we’re able to manifest and create the life we truly desire.
So let me ask you.
Where is it in your life that is not feeling aligned?
What are you ignoring ?
Where could you let go?
Where can you put more energy into making life seem more aligned for you?
So, understand that however you’re feeling right now is the universe guiding you to a more aligned way of living. Understand that discomfort can often be a sign and a little push to make some changes in your life.
Here are some steps that I found truly helped me during times when my whole life was uncertain and felt like my whole world was flipped upside down.
I created my Yoga events for people wanting to both shift energy, receive guidance and connect to their inner most power and heart centre.

They are magic and without these things in my life; I don’t think I would have been able to make it through everything that life has thrown at me over the years.
They are truly magic and light for the soul.

Exercise:
Yoga, Group Fitness
Move your body. Start up at a new gym, studio and try something new. Step outside your comfort zone.
Meditate:
Find a way to slow down and breathe.
Their are many different ways to meditate.
Cacao Ceremonies. Guided meditations online.
Walking meditations. Dancing.
Get into Nature:
Go for a walk in the rainforest, swim in the ocean.
Try hot and cold therapy.
I’m a big believer in Wim Hof.
Personally; hot and cold therapy is something I truly love and has produced great benefits for me many times.
Vision Board and Journalling:
Having a conscious vision allows you to create subconscious thoughts and creations which will work towards manifesting the life of your dreams. If you can see it, you
Nourish your soul:
Eat well! Take time to cook some nutritious and delicious meals.
Buy fresh vegetables form your local markets and Google soups, roast dinners, nourishing foods. Eat more fruit and vegetables.
Vegetables are so grounding and healing.
Be creative. You might surprise yourself.
Drink more water and don’t give up.
Learn something new:
What is something that If you could do, you would do?
I like to learn something new every year. Most things come to me now as it’s a part of my frequency but initially I’d go out there and discover something I was drawn too learn more about.
One thing Covid has been great for, is the amount of online learning available now at our fingertips.
I’ve been using www.Udemy.com for some online courses when I was in lockdown to learn a new skill. They are short courses but a nice introduction if you’re interested in branching out and learning something new.
Rest:
Good adequate rest is more important thank you think. Simply speak to a sleep expert or do your own research.
Rest is a fundamental part of success, health, and happiness. Rest heals your body and mind and allows for more enhanced focus, creativity, mood, productivity, overall health and wellbeing and happiness.
Love and Connection:
Love heals. It truly does.
Often when we experience heartache and hardship, we automatically close off from our own heart and the ones around us.
This is us in human form doing basic human survival techniques.
This comes from our ‘cave man’ days when we are faced with stress or survival threat - our bodies go into what is called ‘survival mode’.
It can happen during any time and depending on how sensitive your body is to change, emotions and life events.
Sometimes we aren’t even aware when ourselves has gone into a survival mode but we are able to witness it in others, for example our lovers, closest friends or family members.
So much more goes on within our biology when we’re experiencing extreme stress and hardship and can effect our digestion, libido, liver function and internal organs. This can cause mental and hormone imbalance.
Often people explain these times as feelings of being ‘numb’, as in difficult to express or feel any type of emotion.

If you or someone you know or love is going through a time like this then it’s important to understand that it is temporary and their are many ways to come back to life. Their are many ways to heal and to awaken your heart, soul and spirit.

During times of intense stress and hardship, our bodies run on adrenaline to ‘survive’ and this puts enormous pressure on our internal organs, especially our adrenal glands.
So more often than not, when the ‘stressful’ or hardship/ difficult time is over and we are able to relax. Instead of feeling excitement and relief.
Sometimes, it is common to fall in a heap and experience extreme fatigue and exhaustion.
This is why supporting your body and listening to your body is paramount important during this time. This is when your body has shifted out of ‘survival’ mode and now gone into rest and digest mode.

This is often the time when the mind will often try to make sense of things and search for answers.
Yet, the most beneficial and powerful thing you can do is trust and rest.
Go back to the list of things I have given above and slowly and nurturingly, do what’s right for you. Emphasis on the ‘rest’ during this time and healing foods as this is when the body will be healing and recovering your nervous system and allowing your internal organs to heal.
Be kind to yourself
Go easy on yourself
Let go of pressure and expectation. Don't be afraid of asking for help or support if you need it.
Find ways to open your heart.

Detox yourself from things that don’t make you feel good!
Weather it be in real life, online.
Friends, family or strangers.
Now is a time to be unapologetic selfish.
How can you be of service or be a friend, lover or anything when you’re not at your best?
It’s okay to distance yourself from things, environments or people that no longer serve you.
Notice how certain people and situations make you feel.
Invest time and energy into only those that make you feel good and are a positive influence in your life.

Become aware of the energy you want to be around, becoming more aware may lead you along a beautiful new path of lighter energy and vibration.
It may align you to people, places and experiences that match your souls purpose.
