Ask most people to picture the Gold Coast and they will picture the towers of Surfers Paradise. Bilinga is the other Gold Coast — the last quiet stretch before the border, where the beach is long and mostly empty, the pace drops by half, and planes drift into Gold Coast Airport low over the water. It is my favourite corner of the coast, and it is where I chose to put a massage table.
Why the quiet end matters
Slow bodywork asks something of a place. KaHuna massage works by giving your body an unbroken rhythm it can finally trust — long flowing strokes, unhurried transitions, nothing sudden. That is a hard spell to cast beside a six-lane road. In Bilinga, the loudest thing most afternoons is the ocean. You step off the sand, into the treatment space, onto the table, and the outside world has already done half the work of letting you go.
My treatment space is at Unit 4, 311 Golden Four Drive — about two hundred metres from the beach, a few minutes from Gold Coast Airport, ten from Coolangatta, and just over the hill from Kirra. If you are coming from Tweed Heads, you will be here before your podcast finishes its intro.
What I offer here
Everything I do lives in this one space: KaHuna bodywork, intuitive healing massage, energy healing and sound healing — from a one-hour reset to the full three-hour Multidimensional Healing. Sessions are one-on-one, fully draped, always within your comfort, and shaped around what your body actually needs on the day rather than a fixed routine.
If you are visiting the coast, a session pairs beautifully with the simplest itinerary I know: beach walk, bodywork, long lunch, nothing else. And if you are flying out of Gold Coast Airport, you can honestly walk out of your session and be at the terminal in five minutes — floating gently through security is a highly underrated way to travel.
Making a day of it
Bilinga and its neighbours reward slowness. Walk the beach north towards Kirra point in the morning light. Swim early. Find coffee in North Kirra or Coolangatta. Book your session for the early afternoon, when the body is warm and willing. Afterwards, resist the urge to be productive — a quiet dinner and an early night let the work keep unfolding.
Coming to the table
If you have been circling the idea of KaHuna for a while, consider this your sign. Read what to expect from a first session, or simply book a time — the space, the bowls and the quiet end of the coast will handle the rest.
With love,
Bryony 💕
